Did you know that all you have to do to be a member of the Better Business Bureau is to pay their membership fee? As a business owner and entrepreneur, I have been solicited by the Better Business Bureau for each of my businesses to join as a member to advertise in their Better Business Bureau Yellow Pages. The idea of third party endorsement from an entity like the Better Business Bureau makes perfect sense.

While the BBB does have a formal complaint procedure, I my personal opinion it’s not a great way to find the products and services that you want and need.

Business Networking referrals on the other hand has 3 components. First the Referrer – the person putting their professional reputation on the line to give you a referral. Second the Referred – the person, company, product or service that is being referred. Third the Referree – the person or company that is receiving the referral.

The real difference is that of relationship. The relationship between the Better Business Bureau is strictly a business relationship because they take money to promote a business. Where a Business Networking Referral involves many types of relationships based on trust, honor and accountability. Where each party involved has a commitment to the other parties.

Business Intuition: Not Just Women’s Work

As summer winds down, I’ve been busy getting several projects ready for launch after the Labor Day Holiday. They are internet based projects and my entry into the “4 Hour Work Week”. We’re putting together several membership sites that will help business people with their business networking and home based business owners in making more money from home and start their “4 hour work week” business. Very exciting and something that is a 20 year dream coming to fruition.

I’ve been using my “intuitive” abilities to guide me in these ventures. It’s fun honoring my “spiritual values” and following my “intuitive sense” and watching the project unfold. While at the same time I’ve been managing my ego, impulses and personality that wants to do things the way it’s always done things… down and dirty and very quickly. Now we have a built to last, intuitively designed and spiritually inspired business. Do you think it will work? – I know it will.

In the back ground while I’ve been working on my projects, I’ve gotten more acquainted with what it’s like to be a “professional intuitive consultant”. Since my name is “Terry Hall” most people expect a Business Intuitive named Terry Hall to be a woman. Well I’m not lady, woman, chick or female. So how did I male become a business intuitive?

That’s a good question. The answer may surprise you. I took a course. I heard about the class and knew and knew that I knew that I would be there. Not even a 2nd thought. The class I took taught me to meditate, quiet my mind, control my mind, leave my body, heal myself and others, communicate with Spirit and love myself. Of everything that I’ve learned and practiced “loving myself” has been the catalyst for having a fun and blissful life.

Anyway, what’s it like being a man in what is traditionally female role? Simply put a pain in the butt. Most people see me as my physical self [strong, powerful and no-nonsense]. When it’s time to use my soft skills and intuitive abilities they’re not quite sure how to take it. As a side note, it always made dating fun and eventful. Making love with an Intuitive Man that is also strong and powerful is a trip [according to the feedback that I've received]. But that’s another article for my personal journal. ;-)

As a male intuitive counselor that is straight, I’ve also had many interesting offers for the gay community. It the gay community, I’m told that my physicality would make me a “bear” but the few that have tried have realized that I’m hopelessly hetero.

There is only one other stereotype that I’ve had to manage to get and maintain my credibility. That is the stereo-typical way that most intuitive counselors dress. Most intuitives, psychics and healers look like they are on the way to a Renaissance Festival somewhere or they seem to have gone to the “Tammy Faye Baker School of Make Up” and using more cologne and perfume that a 60-something Realtor ™.

So now that I’ve touched on the major stereo types in the Spiritual/Intuitive Community, let’s talk about if you should hire me. The answer is probably not. I am a real big pain in the ass. I’ve fired clients. I don’t worry about hurting your feelings. I only work on my scheduled hours. I don’t put up with whining, complaining and other distractions. Simply put, I’m pretty much a “Spiritual Jerk”.

You may be asking why anyone would hire me. It’s simple – I’m damn good. It you want something and are willing to have it on your life, then I can assist you in getting it. My preference is Business – hence “Business Intuitive” and “The Small Business Prophet”.

Imagine having someone that can listen to your heart is communicating show you the most probable future and how to design your life in a way that strikes a balance between your dreams and reality. Works very well. I can say that now that I am my own client.

Oh, another reason that the stereo-typical spiritual community disinterests me is that most practitioners do not practice for themselves what they preach to others and the dis-congruity is the reason that most Spiritual people are happy being unhappy.

No BS Marketing is TOTAL BS!

Or so I thought…

During election years, the smell of BS is thick everywhere you go. You can’t get away from it. Politicians are very good at telling us exactly what we want to hear to get elected. They want use to experience the pleasure of their Winning and the Pain of the other side winning.


And the worst part is that I am just as guilty as the next person. It works, but at what cost?

Human beings want to avoid pain and seek pleasure. Marketers know this and make Pain/Pleasure the focus of the message. The more you can get a person in the experience of the pain they want to avoid or the possibility of the pleasure they what to have, the more attractive your solution will be.

Dan Kennedy is the master of the No BS brand. Dan’s message was simple and straight to the point with no concern for offending anyone. If you want to make money, a lot of it now… Here’s what you do.

The only problem is that it’s all TOTAL BS! But it works.

…and I hated it all until something changed.

I don’t think it’s possible to watch an infomercial or read a compelling sales letter without considering
buying what is being sold. Just passing by a TV station that is running an infomercial, will suck you in. The energy, the tone, the buzz words, the magic. the urgency… ALL trigger our desire and emotions. I don’t care what it is, I want to buy it.

The words, ideas and phrases that evoke emotion and sell…

As someone that has practiced meditation and mental control for over 20 years it’s fascinating to watch my automatic responses to these messages. They set me up, suck me in and I LOVE IT. We all do. The possibility of EASY MONEY, the perfect body, dying at 190 having great sex with 3 super models in the back seat of the car of my dreams…. Well it’s almost too much to handle. Sorry that was probably TMI (too much information).

My first exposure to No BS Marketing was in the early 90s at T Harv Eker’s first “Street Smart Business School” in the San Diego Area. I got Dan Kennedy’s “Ultimate Information Entrepreneur” Program.

That weekend changed the course of my life. I got an idea in my mind that it was possible to get rich in business. Even then, T Harv was a Master at NLP and Jedi Mind Tricks after all he learned from the master Tony Robbins. Even with my mental training, I fell for it all.

Since then, I’ve spent about 15 years as a student of this type of sales and marketing. There was only one thing missing. That one thing turned out to be the essential and key component to success in business.
Your business has to be something that you PASSIONATE about and something that you could be the BEST in the world at.

But I missed the point. I was too busy building businesses and economic engines that led to no where, in
industries that I didn’t care about and where I never wanted to be the BEST.

Finally! I connected all of the dots last year ago.

My Passion is Spiritual Growth and Self-Awareness and I am arguably one of the Best Intuitive Consultants in the world.

I love it so much that I’ve done it for Free for most of the past 20 years…

My area interest and focus (niche) is Business, Business Owners, Entrepreneurs & Licensed Professionals. I enjoy business. Owning a business is the American Dream.

So I combined my two loves and became a Business Intuitive and the truth is that I have no competition.

Most people don’t know anything about Intuition, Psychics or Mediums. They haven’t been educated. Their only experience is some odd looking person, that’s dresses funny and shuffling a deck of cards and charging a buck a minute in some tourist trap area. That’s exactly why I didn’t tell anyone, until now that I’m Intuitive. It’s pretty freaky, but most people who openly claim to be Intuitive look like freaks, act
like freaks and seem to be broke.

My love and enthusiasm can’t help but rub off.

What Is A Business Intuitive Anyway? April 25, 2008

Every one has an “intuitive knowing” from time to time. Women have a tendency to listen to their “Intuition” more than men – thus “Women’s Intuition”. Here are several examples of intuition:

  • The phone rings, your not expecting a call and you know who’s calling.
  • Your spouse, mate, boss or co-worker enters a room and you know their mood without even seeing their face.
  • You have a feeling to take an alternative route to work and find out that you avoided an accident or construction.
  • Really good sales people intuitively know when to ask for the order and when to come back later.
  • You are in a crowd and you “feel” someone looking at you. You turn and make direct eye contact.
  • You say something and the person your with says “I was just thinking that”.
  • You think about someone that you haven’t spoken with in a long while and they call within a day or two.

These are a few very common examples that you’ve probably experienced. They’re fun and with practice you can get really good at knowing these types of things.

What is Intuition?

Intuition is either ESP or Spiritual in nature. ESP (Extra Sensory Perception) is the most common and is typically precognition (like in the movie Next) and happens most anytime. Spiritual Intuition typically happens as prophetic dreams when you are waking up and comes from our Spiritual Guides, Teachers or Loved ones.

Since we are all intuitive,
why is there a need for a “Business Intuitive”.

Typically your intuition is random and inconsequential. Having on-command intuition and use it help you make decisions is preferred and can be learned. Intuitive Consultants and Practitioners have this on-command intuition.

Types of Intuitive Consultants:

• Crime Intuitive
• Business Intuitive

I know that I’ve forgotten one or two, but you get the point. We can use our intuitive abilities for different areas, but we tend to focus on our area of interest.

In the information age, the need for non-analytical information is more greater that ever. The demands on a small business owner are extensive and exhausting.
